The True Gospel

The title of this ministry pretty much says it all. Everything about this ministry is aimed at living for God, and encouraging others to do the same. Through proper instruction in the actual TRUTH of God, it is my hope that people will see the real God from the instruction on this ministry site, and realize that the world has infected and polluted a vast amount of today's Christian culture, and choose to turn away from worldliness to truly serve God as He expects us to.

The subtitle, "Restoring Godly integrity to Christian living through honest, unbiased Biblical instruction...", nails down the motivation that drives this ministry effort. We're all about PROPER biblical instruction, as opposed to the fantasies and fairytales handed out in most of todays churches.

So, who am I to attempt such a ministry effort? Good question, which deserves an answer. I am someone to whom God has given the ability to see what has happened to Christianity over the centuries. My desire is to help people see and understand the Gospel Truth so they can truly live their lives for God, and not for themselves.

I have no references that would identify me as an upstanding, sinless man who has always sought after the Truth. In fact, I've lived the biggest part of my life striving to serve my own selfish needs and desires, and generally in complete disregard for how God wanted me to live.

In fact I know a lot of people could probably say the same about themselves, but it's normal to hear people say these things. However, when it comes to ministry and ministers, it's normal to see them as a cut above the rest of us; someone who has always sought after God, and who has lived a basically pure life with few skeletons in their closets. In my case, I've had to build a few extra closets and enlarge a few I had already filled with my skeletons. I won't go into the sordid details, but you can rest assured those days are gone.

There are those who may find this site and see who the minister is, and their only logical response would be, "You've got to be kidding!" Unfortunately, I'd be able to understand their skepticism. Some people who know me will virtually ignore this ministry effort simply because of their knowledge of me, and I'm deeply saddened by that truth.

I cannot defend myself against the evils I've done, or the harm I've done to others, and especially the harm I've done to the work God is having me do. What I can do is remind people that the Bible is replete with examples of God using the most unlikely people to do His will. In the new testament, Jesus asked the Pharisees who would love more, the person who was forgiven little or the person who was forgiven much (paraphrasing, of course). The Pharisees answered correctly that the one who was forgiven for the most would love the most, and Jesus agreed. I'm one of those about whom He was talking. I've been forgiven for a vast about of sin, and my love for God and my devotion to Him is irrefutable!

As unlikely a candidate as I may be for this type of work, God has placed me in it, and I will NOT back down or bow out. So, instead, I'll now give you a brief history of how I was raised and a few other facts.

Obviously, I was born so I had a proper start. I was immediately diagnosed with asthma and double pnemonia, so breathing has been a problem for me right from the start. By the time I was released from the hospital (about a year and a half) my mom had disappeared and left my six brothers and sisters in the care of my great aunt and great uncle in Decatur, Illinois. We all ended up growing up in orphanages. The details are irrelevant, but I never saw my dad, and didn't see my mom for the first time until I was fourteen. She asked me to live with her, and I refused. I figured I was fine where I was at and had no intention of leaving the orphanage to live with the woman who had abandoned me.

I finished high school, and went to college for three months. Then I quit college and joined the Air Force. That's where I learned to work on computers, and I've been doing that ever since. I now own CowboyTech Computers in Perry, Oklahoma. Somewhere between the orphanage and the computer business, I managed to commit just about every sin you could think of. I was "saved" (the first time) when I was ten years of age. I was saved and baptized again in 1979 when I joined a church I'd been researching. The second time it seemed to stick, and I haven't looked back since.

Through the years I've attended dozens of denominationally aligned churches, including one that is now considered to have been a cult. I disagree, but it was wrong in a large part of it's teaching. In fact, that's the church I joined in 1979, and which started me on my long journey of intense bible study.

Through these years of study and research, I've wavered back and forth on several issues about the "Truth" until I finally turned to God and pleaded with Him that He show me the truth, and help me sort out fiction and lies from what is actual Godly Truth. From that time on, I've been able to search, analyze and disect the information I've found until I've finally found the actually Gospel Truth by listening to the Spirit of God rather than the spirits of men and demons. To tell you the truth, the "Truth" is quite refreshing, and really has set me free!

Jesus said that we shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set us free. With this site, and perhaps some videos uploaded to YouTube, I'm going to give you the opportunity to be set free. What you do with that opportunity is entirely up to you, and between you and God.

God bless you in your search for His Kingdom and His Righteousness.

Seeking His will,
